Dr. Mike Lawson is a graduate of the University of Minnesota system, first with a Bachelor's in Business Administration and subsequently graduating with honors from the U of M School of Dentistry in 1998. Since then, he and his family have made a home in Central Minnesota practicing in St. Cloud and Sartell. Dr. Lawson shares two passions, one for dentistry, (his team and patients) and the other for his family (wife Kristin and son's Ian and Elijah). Dr. Lawson is dedicated to working with our patients toward the goal of optimum oral health, recognizing the benefits to their overall health while maintaining honesty and compassion in his care.

Kristin's management background includes 12 years in retail management. She lives in Sartell with husband Mike (who just happens to be our very own Dr. Mike), kitties Onyx and Olive. Mike and Kristin have two grown sons, Ian and Eli, who currently both reside in Minneapolis. What Kristin enjoys most about working at Lawson Family Dental is the aspect of building a strong team of dental professionals and the challenge of the ever-changing dental environment.

Sheila - Office Coordinator/Dental Assistant
Sheila received her Dental Assisting Degree from St. Cloud Technical and Community College in 2010 and joined our team in 2011. She started her time with us as one of Dr. Mike's assistants. Since then she has grown to wear many "hats" with her experience with us. In 2020 she took on the position as Office Coordinator for LFD but still utilizes her dental assisting skills with Dr. Mike when needed. Sheila currently resides in Clear Lake with her husband Jake and their two boys; Leo and Henry. She enjoys watching her boys grow, along with reading, baking, and spending time outdoors as a family doing various seasonal activities. Sheila enjoys utilizing her knowledge to help our patients in many ways. The relationships with patients is something she truly enjoys. She feels fortunate to be on a team that truly feels like a family.
Becca - Registered Dental Hygienist
Becca graduated in 2015 from SCTCC with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She and her husband, Jake, live in Sartell with their three children; Landen, Ava and Addelyn. They have a golden retriever named Ollie and a leopard gecko named Skoly. Becca enjoys her spare time by reading, doing DIY projects, and spending time with family back home on Lake Superior. What she enjoys most about working at Lawson Family Dental is working with a supportive and caring group of co-workers. She is thankful for the opportunity to make each dental visit a positive and comfortable one!

She and her husband, Elijah, live in Sartell and welcomed their first child in September 2024, a little boy named Eddie. What Karen loves most about Lawson Family Dental is being part of a team that works together to make every day great for each other and for every person that comes to the office!
